I know in my head it's Sunday. But I got to work tonight. Don't wanna. First Sunday I've worked since I been here. Work tonight and tomorrow. Then got one day off. Then work. I think. Feels odd. It's Monday, but it's not.

Ok, so how do I turn off pop-ups on firefox?? Cos these pop-ups, even when I close them, the audio continues. Now, that just sucks.

No wonder Michael Jackson had no money. He gets/got it from his family. TWO autopsies?? Really?? Only idiots spend money like that.

And was sick of hearing about him two hours after he croaked off. Am well and truely sick of hearing about him now.

Mowed the grass with the new push mower...the person powered mower...not the gas mower. Easy to start. Well. Mostly.

My poor aching feet. Still can not get my wireless to work. Stupid Linksys. Bet I have to buy another box to get it to work. If that's the case I got the one I travel with here somewhere. Will just use it. Not like I'm traveling right now.

Oh dear God. I am going to turn off LJ for the rest of the day. It's getting out of hand!!

Oh yeah. The NYT journalist who was held captive 7 months and escaped. Sounds like something I heard about on the way to town Saturday. 5 people in the nation decide who hears what news.

Ever think you are on overload?? Maybe taking a job this close to home was not such a good idea as I thought it was gonna be. If I could get hold of Kathy, we could go to the movies. That would help. Of course, to do that, I would need to be able to make a freaking phone call.

So. Now there's a commerical on tv about a Canadian woman who came here to have her surgery. Wonder if she paid for it or if she sponged off us? And yes, I am well aware that this is just anti-Obama health care propaganda.

So, did I mention I lost my debit card at the Farmer's Market? *sigh* Found it missing when I went to leave Saturday morning. Had to cancel it before I left to meet Glenda. Two weeks at least before they send me a new one. Yeah, yeah, they claim a week. It'll be two.

Hit the Farmer's Market this morning. 4 great huge tomatoes. Yum. Fine, they're greenhouse tomoatoes. Better than none!

Got a nice big head of brocolli...will take that to my sister's. She is making noises about planting out some in her garden. She loves brocolli--never ate it as a kid. Has never grown any and has never had any that was other than frozen. Trying to convince her that frozen and fresh is the same thing...save for the frozen part.

Got a bag of fresh radishes too. Yummy. They're really strong. And some sugar snap peas. I eat those just raw. Yummy yum!

Love the Farmer's Market. Mind, the one here is not as good as the one in Quincy. But then, bigger town, bigger area to draw from. They have one in the middle of town in the middle of the week too. Not that I go cos I work that day.


Got my car cleaned out on the inside. Got Glenda's birthday present in it. Will try to remember to give it to her when I see her. Remembered to give MizzLizz her prednisone. She usually eats everything in site the day after taking that. So good, cos she needs to gain a bit more weight.

Well, forgot to order pizza. Fell asleep in the middle of a conversation with The Flower. Sorry Flower. Woke up and had to settle for PB&J on toast. Good thing I like such.

Is almost 1 am now. I need to find something to wrap Glenda's book in, and set that where I won't forget it.

It poured down rain and really stormed. I slept thru it. It's dard now, and I have not been out to check for damage. Well. One of the strings on my windchimes broke, so have broken wind chimes. Will have to get something to fix that when we go to the craft store tomorrow.

I really miss the chimes that were in my tree. I miss my tree too. But the chimes that were in my tree, I found those at a local flea market. They were hand made. Lovely sound. Kind of deep and high at the same time. I'm picky about chimes. Most don't sound right to me, and grate on me. The ones that were in my tree were really nice. Maybe I will see about re-stringing those. Won't be able to replace the spacers though. Those were bright red hearts. Maybe I can save the pipes though. Have an abreviated version of them. We'll see.

I called my brother to come mow the grass. Not much choice. It's way to long for me to get with this mower. But the grass seed came up really nicely. Filled in lots of the holes and bare patches. Will try to work on growing more later in the summer maybe.

I better see if I can sleep. Farmer's Market opens at 0630. If I can get around, I can get some tomatoes and such. I got to leave here by 0930 at the latest to meet Glenda at Wendy's. Really wish she would just let me meet her at her house. Oh well. She's odd about that kind of thing. It's the MS I'm sure. Gets a thought in her head and that's that. ACK! I got to clean out my car too. I got most of it done before it started raining, and then i fell asleep and did not finish. Damn it.

Ok, in bits and pieces, cos I got other stuff I am doing, and cos it's getting pretty stormy looking out...very dark in here at 4:04 pm.

Went shopping after work, actually remembered! Found at Walmart--black scrub pants and a print co-ordinating top. Yay. Top is not the type I generally buy, but beggers can not be choosers. Looks like they just got a slug of stuff in at that Walmart. The Walmart across the bridge is not selling them at all anymore. The one up river is selling out. Fine. Freaking Walmart.

Storming now. Big time wind some rain. Getting worse.

Found a book with sock patterns to give Glenda for her birthday. She likes to knit and is learning socks. So a pattern book and a gift card to the Hobby Lobby where she can get yarn to make said socks.

Home by 11:00. Have not slept though. Tired, but not worn out. Oh well.

Crap. I need to get something for Glenda for her birthday. God knows what that will be. I don't do anything crafty anymore. Not that I would have time to do anything anyway. I will be seeing her Saturday. I guess I could hang about town after work on Friday until something opens. Get a gift card to somewhere. Freaking Hobby Lobby won't open until 9 or 10 though. I'm not even sure I have a card I could stick in the mail. Glenda does a lot of knitting. If I could find a nice pattern booklet for afgans or something, along with a gift card so she could get some yarn...that might work. If I can keep my eyes open long enough come Friday. And remember that I need to. *sigh*

My feet are killing me. Run run all night. Off late. Got home about 15 minutes ago. First call to Steve, to get MizzLizz in and seen today. Leaving in 15 minutes. He'll be glad to see she is doing so well. She met me at the door, giving me hell for being home late. Then, am going to town with my sister. Prolly get some packing boxes. Be a good idea anyway. Should get SOMETHING packed up sooner rather than later.

Also, am hoping to get at least one more pair of work pants. Been washing and wearing the same pair for the past 3 weeks now. That's getting old. Fuck Walmart for no longer carrying scrubs.

Beyond that, just hanging with my sister today. Should be fun.

I know cos I just looked it up, having had a minor panic attack, thinking it was tomorrow. Stupid fucking made up holidays who's only purpose is to make people spend money. I hate these made up holidays. Invented by Hallmark.
